Dexamethasone 0.5 mg/kg is recommended to reduce airway edema after manipulation. A dose of 0.1 mg/kg may be inadequate. Albuterol is used to treat bronchospasm, not edema. Ketorolac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication, is not indicated for laryngeal edema.
