Answer
Answer d. While answers A, B, and C are symptoms which may be present in patients with chronic GVHD, high fever is a less common finding and should prompt an investigation into the cause. In particular, because of the immunosuppressed nature of HSCT patients, there is a significant risk of lifethreatening infections following transplant and fever should never be ignored in these patients.
