Answer c. Veno-venous ECMO does not involve carotid or other arterial cannulation. PA saturation will be higher than normal due to increased SvO2 with infusion of highly oxygenated blood into the venous system. During V-V ECMO, systemic SpO2 is usually 75-95%.
