Patients with Evans myopathy have an increased risk of malignant hyperthermia. In patients with osteogenesis imperfecta the increase in temperature noted during anesthesia is not related to MH. Patients with mitochondrial myopathy and myotonic dystrophy have no increased risk of MH over the general population.
