Answer
Answer b.
Infants (>3 months) have an estimated circulating blood volume of 80 mL/kg. This decreases to 75 mL/kg when they reach school age, and then decreases further to 70 mL/kg when they reach adolescence. At birth, neonates have 90 (term) to 100 (preterm) mL/kg estimated blood volume.
