Answer a. Brunner Glands are found in the intestine along the submucosal layer. They function to secrete alkaline fluid to neutralize the acidic chyme from the stomach. Chief cells in the stomach secrete digestive enzymes to help break down food. Parietal cells in the stomach secrete HCl- to help breakdown food.
