Which of the following is NOT an effective treatment for uremic bleeding?
A. Desmopressin
B. Cryoprecipitate
C. Estrogens
D. Epogen
E. None of the above (all are effective treatments).
Answer
The answer is E. All of the following are effective treatments in uremic bleeding (although onset and length of effect is different). Who knew epogen would help with platelet dysfunction?
