Aorto-pulmonary runoff occurs in the Norwood procedure with MBTS,<br />
and is further exacerbated by factors that reduce PVR. The runoff results in a fall<br />
in coronary perfusion pressure and places the ventricle at risk of ischemia.<br />
Prevention of aortopulmonary runoff is a major benefit of RV to PA conduit<br />
creation. The other statements are all correct.<br />
