It may grow very large with late presentation in resource poor settings. Anaesthesia for surgical removal of this tumour requires a good knowledge of the patient: size of tumour, extent of tumour spread, treatment so far, current medications,associated syndromes or co-existing diseases and present physical condition.Intraoperative haemodynamic instability, large f luid shifts and massive blood loss may occur.
